Position: Netezza Location: Charlotte,NC Duration: 6+ Months *Job Description and Responsibility:* Candidate will be part of a team that converts a very large Oracle data mart utilized for ad-hoc query and monthly reporting for Corporate Treasury lines of business to a Netezza TwinFin Appliance. Working in a development environment with change manager, project leads, developers and database administrators, the candidate will be responsible for creation of Oracle-to-Netezza high/low level designs, data mapping, data migration, code conversion, application development, testing and deployment of the CTDM application onto Netezza TwinFin Appliance. Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work efforts. Development opportunities include working with other Bank of America technical partners like Retail/Wholesale Enterprise Credit Risks (ECRIS), Bank of America Asset Tracking and Allocation System (BAATS), Corporate Investment Technology (CIT) and other technology partners that utilize CTDM for data needs. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required. *CRITICAL and REQUIRED Skills:* Candidate MUST have 3+ years proficiency in Unix Scripting, Oracle (9i, 10g, 11g, etc.), Netezza (TwinFin), SQL*Loader, NzLoad, SQL*Plus, NzSQL, PL/SQL, NZ PL/SQL, TOAD, Version Control Software (Clearcase), File Transfer Protocols (NDM:ConnectDirect, FTP, etc.) and Compression & Partitioning (sub-partitioning) Utilities. Working experiences with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint and Visio).
