*Position Duties/Responsibilities: *

The SharePoint Administrator will perform system administration, user
support and application support coordination for the client.  The SharePoint
Administrator is part of a team, which is responsible for deployment and
global tier-three technical support for underlying client technology
platforms.



   - Administer and maintain Corporate Intranet and applications and portal
   platform SharePoint farms
   - Deploy SharePoint sites, applications and solutions as required


   - Provide product support to users and stakeholders including:  content
   managers, portal owners, Software QA, applications development and
   applications support teams.
   - Review and analyze system logs and Microsoft and third-party management
   products to preemptively detect and correct system issues.  Perform capacity
   planning to ensure adequate availability and performance.
   - Support SharePoint peripheral systems including web analytics, search
   and site auditing.
   - Additional non-SharePoint responsibilities may be assigned as
   necessary.
   - Work hours outside of office standard business hours may be required to
   perform system maintenance during scheduled change windows.



*Qualifications*

·         2+ years of experience in deploying, administering and maintaining
SharePoint 2007 or 2010 environments consisting of at least 100 users

·         Thorough understanding and experience with SharePoint building
blocks such as site collections, sites, web applications, lists, views,
libraries and the SharePoint security model

·         Experience with SharePoint backup and restore techniques,
preferably Microsoft Data Protection Manager

·         Experience installing, configuring and supporting custom
SharePoint solutions and web parts

·         Familiarity with the use of SharePoint Designer or FrontPage to
customize web sites.  Basic understanding of HTML and XML.

·         Good knowledge foundation of Microsoft Active Directory

·         The candidate must be self-directed and have a proactive approach
to resolving support issues and working with limited on-site supervision

·         Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be team
oriented.

·         Ability to quickly learn new technologies and implement them
effectively

·         Strong oral and written communication skills

·         Well developed troubleshooting and customer support skills

·         Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
