* *Websphere MQ Developer* *NY* *6+ Months* Responsibilities : - Will be responsible for the development and administration of the environment at Client - Will be responsible for the generation of messages and message flows from within the Client environments - Will work with application specialists to identify the data elements that will make up the messages. - Will work with a data power consultant when required in order to bring messages into Client from outside. - Will train on data power and become the expert within Client to leverage existing resources and not be required to consult all the time. - Will continue development of the standard message flows (error and audit) to handle new environments and input types. - Will support the data power and message broker environments, trouble shooting messages and errors to seek resolution. - Above will require on call work. - Will also be working with infra to provide whatever metrics and responses they require to be confident in our handling of production support. - Will augment Client repository of information and develop usage metrics environment to show how the environment is being used for management. *Required Skills:* - * Should have at least 5 years of experience in development of IBM WebSphere MQ message oriented middleware, Message Flows, Message types, Message format, ESQL.* - *4+ years’ experience of design and development using WebSphere Message Broker (V6 or above preferred)* - *WebSphere Message Broker configuration is a plus* - *Must have extensive experience implementing complex Message Flows and Message Sets and using integration patterns* - * 2+ years’ experience in architecting, designing and implementing SOA, J2EE, and Web Services integration solutions using IBM WebSphere products * - *Must demonstrate strong design and programming skills with 3+ years’ experience using the following technologies: Java/J2EE (JDBC, JMS/MQ, JNDI, etc), XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix\Linux environments* - * 3+ or more years of experience in installation, configuration, tuning and administration with WebSphere Application Server ND v6 and v7.* - *Good hands-on experience of managing applications running on Application Server ND v6 and v7.* - *Knowledgeable with Dynacache configuration and troubleshooting.* - *Proficient with WebSphere tools including IBM Heap Analyzer, PMAT, Thread Analyzer, can read GC logs.* - *Knowledgeable with DB SQL commands.
