*OVERVIEW*



The Systems Technician Manager is a mid-level professional and seasoned
individual producer and/or working task leader who applies a comprehensive
and in-depth working knowledge of financial/business concepts, policies,
practices, processes and procedures to the most complex range of assignments.
This position would be responsible for managing a large team of desktop
support staff that support internal employees. Incumbents work
independently, with general guidance of management.  Errors at this level
can cause significant delay, expense and/or disruption to the organization.
Position involves frequent, regular interaction with all levels of ACS’
operations/project management and staff.

*MAJOR DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES*



·          Day to Day Operational Management of Desktop Support teams

·          Prepare and Present monthly performance reports to Management

·          Establish and enforce department policies and procedures

·          Ensures that all phases of desktop support, including
installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and
operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored,
tracked, and resolved

·          International maintenance of desktop management toolset and
security for desktop systems.

·          Select and implement industry standard tools to leverage
productivity and quality in delivery of services.

·          Understand client requirements and develop solution designs and
implementation plan based on requirements.

·          Interface with business units, and deliver metric reports

·          Travel to international sites may occur.

·          Develop and track goals and objectives for staff.

·          Ensure staff stays current with all corporate compliance
certifications.

·          Provide input into yearly budgeting process.

*MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE*

* *



·          Minimum 7 yrs experience in Infrastructure division with min 5
years experience leading and supporting Desk side Services teams.

·          Project Management Experience a Plus

·          ITIL or ISO20000 training or certification a Plus

·          Understanding of desk side services processes and
inter-relationships with other levels of user and application support.

·          Excellent communication skills and should have capacity to
coach/mentor desktop team.

*DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS*

·          ISO 20000 Certification

·          ITIL V2 or V3 Certification

·          Experience managing large teams

·          Experience managing employees overseas

*EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS*



·          BS in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent
education/training/experience

·          Microsoft Technical Certifications

·          Demonstrated proactive customer service skills

·          Excellent oral and written communication skills

·          Basic project management skills (develop project charter and
scope, allocate resources, track progress, etc.)

·          Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and set or

·          Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions

·          Meeting facilitation and presentation skills
