*Duration : 12 months* *Location : Irvine CA* * * * * *INPERSON INTERVIEW OR SHOULD BE WILLING TO GO TO NEAREST CLIENT LOCATION FOR VIDEO CONFERENCE INTERVIEW.* This is a .Net developer (front end) with java backend experience who will be performing major enhancements to an existing order management trading application. They will be working on quarterly releases and would like someone to start ASAP, before June end. This team is looking for a Sr. Level Application Developer with extensive development experience in .Net, C#, Winforms, Visual studio with a Java background for backend development (web services). They must have strong SQL on a RDBMS and be strong at Agile development, using continuous integration tools. Someone with a Masters in Computer Science would be preferable, however their focus is on extensive development experience. They don’t need someone at an architect level. A bit more information about their environment: They use *SyncFusion or Infragistics* at the GUI level for Grid control. Experience in either will be good. Backend application server is *WebLogic or Tomacat*. This is not mandatory, but would be a plus. They use *perforce* for source control. Team Size is about 9 – 10. Location can be either Irvine or West LA, but they will need to occasionally travel between these 2 locations. Requirement spec: Job Responsibility : • *Java, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, SQL; and/or .Net C#, Winforms, Sprint.Net* • 3 plus years experience with *XP or Scrum agile *development methodology • Refactoring existing code and implementing new features using test driven development • Continuous Integration tools (e.g., *Perforce, QuickBuild*) • *Tomcat Application Server* • Deployment and configuration of application server on a *Linux/Unix*environment. • Advanced knowledge of programming language(s), software development tools and environment(s)and systems analysis and functional design. • Advanced knowledge of database design and database concepts. • Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, system development methodologies and software life cycles. • Thorough knowledge of project/task estimation and planning. • Thorough knowledge of software change control procedures. • Demonstrated ability to participate in all phases of application software development. • Demonstrated ability to lead some phases of application software development. • Demonstrated ability to direct the activities of programmers and programmer/analysts within a project.
