*Job Description:*

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst (Sr. BSA) will work with the business
partners across multiple business functions to align technology solutions
with business strategies.  This position includes but is not limited to the
development of project scope, business and functional requirements.  The
primary goal of the Sr. BSA is to formulate and define systems scope and
objectives based on both user needs and broad knowledge and understanding of
applicable systems and industry requirements.  The Sr. BSA devises or
modifies procedures to solve complex problems.  The Sr. BSA will also
analyze business systems processes and translate requirements to functional
requirements of moderate to high complexity.  The Sr. BSA will be
responsible for the collection, analysis, design and documentation of
business and functional requirements.



*Key Responsibilities:*

   - Serve as the liaison between engineering and the business, insuring
   that the business goals and objectives are clearly communicated and
   understood by engineering; while being able to understand concerns and
   issues from engineering and communicate that back to the business for
   efficient and effective resolution.
   - Fully understand the business processes of users in the areas of
   responsibility
   - Gather, document and communicate functional requirements of business
   unit and technical solutions
   - Conduct data analysis research on existing solutions (applications,
   integration, reports) to support design of replacement systems
   - Write design specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria to be
   used by developers in developing applications and enhancements
   - Work with other Nike IT resources to design, develop, test, and
   implement solutions that meet functional specifications
   - Lead and facilitate meetings with technical team and the business
   - Participate in development of project plan/timeline



*Requirements for the position include:*

   - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or
   other relevant subject area; 2 years additional experience in lieu of a
   degree.
   - 6-10 years of professional experience in functional analysis
   - Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, etc),
   authoring user stories and acceptance criteria (3+ yrs)
   - Proven leadership abilities
   - Ability to innovate and possess creative thinking
   - Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business
   functionality and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read
   functional specifications
   - Experience with data analysis, data migration and integration,
   reporting, and/or financial applications
   - Ability to quickly understand and process new information and concepts
   - Strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability
   to independently and successfully lead and/or facilitate discussions with
   key business and technical stakeholders.
   - Outstanding negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills
   - Ability to work with others to promote teamwork necessary to reach
   common goals
   - Strong ability to adapt to changing needs, competing priorities,
   evolving processes, and ambiguity
   -  Works independently, receives minimal guidance
