*Location: **Los Alamitos CA* *Duration: 2 year contract* *Description* Company is looking to fill contractor or employee position to provide new development, programming support, and consultation to develop our new operational system. This system will provide functionality prevalent to - and required by, the automotive distribution industry. Our applications interface with multiple EDI partners, providing administrative, distribution and financial management to in-house staff. The 300-400 functions of the application are being developed in JAVA and ancillary technologies; including Java EE, EJB 3.0, Seam, Richfaces, JSF, JSP, Java Script, JBOSS. Our PostgresSQL database contains approximately 50 tables that service the application. The candidate chosen will have an ability to do full-cycle development of web-applications, including GUI development using JSF, and Richfaces (or another component library), middle tier development with Java 1.5 or later, JPA/Hibernate, and strong database abilities. Additionally, requirements gathering are part of the position so you need to be able to provide meaningful documentation using the written word, wireframes (such as Balsamiq), on confluence.
