Job Title: QA tester with Loadrunner / Web/Java Location: Johns Creek, GA Duration: 6+ Months Phone then face to face ***Job Description*:- This position is for a QA Performance Tester to partner with an established team of QA and Developers in designing, developing, and implementing performance, load and stress testing, to verify newly developed or redesigned software applications in a fast moving, changing retail environment. * Responsibilities:* - Analyze requirements and system design documentation to develop a performance test plan and strategy - Review server capacity planning and performance analysis for Unix, Windows, Database and Mainframe platforms - Develop technical performance test plans - Plan, design, execute and evaluate performance tests of applications and services to ensure optimal application performance -Advanced scripting experience on HP Performance Center - Researching and modelling test scenarios based on realistic client usage patterns - Identify performance bottlenecks throughout the system - Use LoadRunner to design and execute load and performance tests against Web applications, web services, DB2 and SQL Server. - Establish and maintain test data - Build customized load generators - Analyze load test results to accurately assess product quality and identify solutions to improve application performance - Document and present performance test findings throughout the life of the project: Detailed and Summary - Maintain baseline metrics for each application, component and release *Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:-* - 3- 5 years previous experience developing and executing LoadRunner scripts in a distributed application development environment - Ability to work as a team member, both on the QA team and with other Developers, PMs, and managers - Knowledge of performance bottlenecks, end-to-end performance, and web performance measures (server response time, throughput, network latency, etc.) - Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear, audience aware, and business-like e-mails, status reports, and summaries - An understanding of web protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, TCP/IP, and DNS - An understanding of networking and web technologies such as Web Methods, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, AJAX, .NET, J2EE, etc. - Knowledge of web page composition (static vs. dynamic elements, browser behavior, etc.) - Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with development and QA staff - Experience in Agile Software Development a plus - Knowledge and use of LoadRunner, Performance Center, QTP - Experience with JBOSS, DB2, SQL Server, WebSphere, AIX, Windows Server are pluses * Required skills:* Unix, Windows, LoadRunner, HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, TCP/IP, DNS, Web Methods, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, jsp, ajax, .Net, SQL, Agile, Performance Center, QTP, JBOSS, SQL, WebSphere, AIX. * --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * *# Please includes the following information when submitting candidates.* Candidate Full Name: Contact Number: Work Status: Current Location: Email: Ok with Relocation if not local? : Will you incur the Relocation expenses if required? : Availability to start a new project? : Availability to interview? : Total Exp US Exp.
