*SUMMARY *

   - Act as a primary contact for Load, Stress, and Performance testing
   activities company wide
   - Lead other Test Engineers in the designing, development, execution and
   maintenance of Load/Stress/Performance test scripts
   - Provide training and mentorship on Load/Stress/Performance testing
   tools, processes and best practices
   - Provide estimates to Product teams for Load/Stress/Performance Test
   efforts
   - Solve complex Load/Stress/Performance Test challenges involving
   Graphical and non-Graphical User Interfaces
   - Help establish and contribute to testing methodologies, standards, and
   procedures
   - Reports to Manager, Test Engineering, Quality Services

*ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

   - Responsible for prevention and early detection of performance
   bottlenecks through verification and validation activities ensuring the
   integrity and quality of all work products (i.e., software and
   documentation)
   - Lead large, multi-cultural Load/Stress/Performance testing efforts
   - Load/Stress/Performance Test planning
   - Execution of tests and/or verification that tests and artifacts have
   been completed
   - Defect reporting and tracking
   - Management reporting of status
   - Contribute to metrics reporting as individual contributor
   - Provide input to establishment/maintenance/improvement of
   methodologies, templates, process/procedure as appropriate
   - Predict potential risks and identifies steps to minimize the impact of
   risks across area of responsibility
   - Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for new and junior staff
   members
   - Establish and maintain test data as required for area of responsibility

   - Responsible for maintaining collaboration with stakeholders and
   ensuring alignment of end-to-end processes
   - Accountable for consistent output of quality testing artifacts and
   testing services; adherence to quality methodologies
   - Act as Sr. Load/Stress/Performance Test Engineer on high level for
   large/complex functional applications, as assigned
   - Analysis of test requirements to ensure ability to automate tests;
   reporting of gaps/discrepancies

*Position Requirements *

*QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS*

* *

*Required Experience and Education*

   - A bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
   - At least 10 years of Test Automation experience.
   - English language fluency
   - Solid Understanding of QA principles, processes, and methodologies
   - Experience and understanding of the development lifecycle
   - Experience leading Test Engineering teams for large, multi-million
   dollar projects
   - Use of a variety of testing tools preferred; Load/Stress/Performance
   test suites required
   - Experience coordinating Load/Stress/Performance test efforts
   - Experience with global testing organizations
   - Agile test technique, particularly iterative or SCRUM environments
   - Load/Stress/Performance testing experience; provision of information
   for non-functional requirements





*Preferred Experience and Education*

   - Load/Stress/Performance testing “guru”
   - Previous experience working in the logistics industry a plus
   - Knowledge of SQL and databases; ability to use complex SQL structures
   to mine for information
   - Understanding of coding, networks, operations, and infrastructures
   - Previous experience working in SOA environment
   - Experience with HP QTP and LoadRunner/PerformanceCenter

   - MS Office Skills
   - Load/Stress/Performance Test software (HP LoadRunner/PerformanceCenter)

   - Test management software (HP QC)
   - Ability to work in UNIX, Windows, AS400, Oracle, and Microsoft
   environment
   - Software Development Lifecycles; agile experience required
   - Understanding and experience with metrics as they apply to testing
   efforts
   - Solid experience with testing complex events in multi-tiered
   environments
   - In-depth understanding of test automation on a functional, load,
   performance, and stress basis
   - Testing analysis and execution
   - Defect management
   - Ability to use complex SQL Queries
   - Advanced training or understanding of current QA/QC trends,
   methodologies, and issues
