Thanks. Data Modeler: Looking for Data modeler to build and support business intelligence application for Guardian Individual Life business. It’s a contract position. Individual should have a strong data warehousing background with proven hands-on skills. DESCRIPTION: Responsible for developing dimensional data models associated with the Data Warehouse. Works closely with all development resources in regards to creating an integrated model comprising of multiple business/subject areas of the data warehouse. Overall responsibilities include extracting business rules (business processes, business entities, etc.) from the customer, designing the associated model, and creating all required documentation to support, communicate, and validate the data model. All models created should conform to strategic goals and should have appropriate supporting documentation (entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), business process diagrams, and process flow diagrams, metadata, etc.). Prepares and implements data verification and testing methods for the data warehouse; creates necessary DDL script.
