Here's the Job Description *Immediate Start – SEND RESUMES NOW for interview today!!*** Position: QA Tester Location: Columbus, Ohio *Tester and Testing Coordinator* - This position is based in *Columbus**, OH * We are seeking an experienced Testing Coordinator and Test Executer to be a part of a financial services project team working on application testing initiatives.. Responsibilities: Test Coordination Core member of the virtual domain project team (including Test Lead/Planner, Project Manager, Business System Analyst (BSA), Production Support and SE Leads). All working toward the goal of delivering high-quality product enhancements that are compatible with release timeline targets. Coordinates the offshore Test Executions efforts for multiple projects. Monitors test execution progress and reports execution statistics to Test Lead/Planner. Identifies execution risks, collaborating with the Project Manager to identify and implement changes to test plans (e.g., additional resources, rescheduling of test sequence, etc.) in response to risk Provides timely and accurate testing updates to the assigned Test Lead/Planner Test Execution Under the leadership of the Test Lead/Planner, responsible for test case/script execution and modification to support the overall test strategy. Efforts include updates to the overall test case/script library. Provides duration estimates to Test Lead/Planner, which are incorporated into the overall testing estimates that are presented to the Project Manager. Accurately document defects within Mercury Quality Center (MQC), and ensure traceability is apparent to the impacted case/script. When appropriate, expose risk factors to the Test Lead/Planner. Involved, when necessary, in maintenance release activities.
