Location : San Jose, CA Duration : 3-6months(extendable) Start date : Immediate Skill Set Windows 7 Deployment SME Client is looking for an experienced PC technician to help launch our Windows7 pilot deployment. This initial user group will consist of approximately 300 users from multiple sites in North America and a few international sites. Responsibilities: a. Performs migration services from XP to Win7. This is an automated processing using SCCM, MDT, and OSD. Candidate will make sure user data and profile are migrated properly. b. Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support for users during this pilot phase. This includes but not limited to overcome compatibilities issues by leveraging App-V, MED-V, shims, etc. Qualifications: a. Extensive experience with Windows XP OS features and functions. b. Extensive experience with all aspects of Windows 7 and related technologies, including but not limited to: a. SCCM, MDT, OSD, P2V, WDS b. DCM (optional) c. App-V, MED-V, AppLocker, application shims d. AD, GPO, GPP e. BitLocker and/or other FDE tools f. OMPM, Office 2010 g. IE8 browser and settings c. At least 2 successful implementations of Windows 7.
