Position: Business Analyst *w/ Insurance and Manual Testing exp.* Location: Greensboro, NC
Length: 6 months Rate: Open Interview Process: Telephonic and F2F Client Industry: Insurance *KEY EXPERIENCE:* · Collaborate with Business partners to understand business needs and research possible solutions to address those needs. (Must have Insurance experience) · Independently creates detailed software requirement specifications for moderate to complex level business requests. ( A BA background would work out great but must have an understanding on JAVA development, won't be coding but so know how to review code and understand it) · Ensure no gaps exist in Business Requirements. · Develops and executes test plans to ensure the accurate development of moderate to complex system changes from a business and functional perspective. ( Must be able to do manual testing) · Strong understanding of software development life cycle best practices · Must possess strong analytical and investigative skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to write technical reports understandable to non-IT staff. · Ability to communicate effectively with both Business and IT partners. · Strong prioritization skills and ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently and independtly. · Must be self-motivated. · Ability to work independently, while enthusiastic for challenge and change in a team environment. · Demonstrated an aptitude for management and leadership positions. · B.S or Master Degree in Information Systems, computer science, or other related fields · 8 to 12 years related experience in an information systems environment within an insurance/financial services organization? · Minimum 2 years of software development background, preferably in Java · Database skills, such as SQL Server a plus.
