The Consultant resource shall possess most of the following technical
knowledge and experience:

   - 5+ Years Experience with J2EE (JSF, JSP/servlets, EJB), DB2 SQL and
   data validation
   - 3+ Years experience working in a helpdesk environment providing
   customer support and troubleshooting systems
   - Experience in Clear Case and Clear Quest – IBM Tools
   - Extensive application knowledge gained by working on  SFO applications
   areas
   - Extensive knowledge of the Websphere J2EE infrastructure.
   - Experience in the Web Application Frontend Programming – HTML/CSS/Java
   –Script
   - Experience in JBOSS and Linux is a must
   - Business knowledge demonstrated to the user community.

·         Project management experience

   - Hands-on experience in developing Web based Client Server Applications
   using Websphere Application server and RAD (Rational Application Developer)
   and newer UML modeling, Oracle SQL, JAVA, J2EE applications. DB2 and
   mainframe interfaces and connections **
   - Working knowledge of logical database design and structure **
   - Implemented object oriented solutions across J2EE applications using
   UML and RUP design approaches (OOA, OOD, UML, and RUP)

·         Exposure to multi-tiered development tools and methodologies



 Tasks

* *The Applications Support Developer/Software Engineer will coordinate the
support, development and delivery of the maintenance requests related to the
Policy and Billing SFO application to include, but not be limited to:

·         Provide level 2 and 3 phone support / assistance for Online
systems and support to internal and external users and helpdesk staff

·         Work with the Business users, IT application support and
development team to identify the scope and delivery timeline related to SFO
Maintenance Services requests.

·         Work with Policy Online Systems Technical Support IT manager to
identify needed assets and resources to timely deliver systems fixes.

·         Develop fixes for identified application issues, including but not
limited to SFO and UA

·         Provide Technical  and troubleshooting support for the Online
Suite of applications

·         Issue and open / monitor trouble ticket requests to address issues
with Online Systems

·         Develop fixes to Online Systems

·         Leverage SFO Java Framework for Development

·         Code, test and identify specific CQ’s for promotion to production
utilizing Java, SQL and DB2 Stored  procedures

·         Develop detailed test plans for testing teams to validate fixes
