Location: Winter Park, FL
Contract: 6 Months


Job Description:*

The Clients Network Systems Management team supports the OSS environment for
the National Network Operations organization.  This includes ticketing,
fault management, performance management, device discovery and CMDB tools.
Currently there are several projects planned to support delivery of aspects
of the OSS Roadmap into 1st Qtr 2012.  I require contract labor to support
our BMC Remedy ticketing consolidation project and day to day development on
the Remedy platform for the duration of six months.

Project Scope:
The candidate will serve as a contributor in the development of Remedy
solutions which require regular use of ingenuity and creativity with a high
degree of technical sophistication. The candidate will function with general
direction from the Remedy Technical Lead and will have frequent
inter-organizational interactions.
The candidate will have frequent use and application of technical standards,
principals, theories, concepts, and techniques.

Skill Sets Required:
*         Bachelor's Degree
*         2 to 3 years experience as a Remedy Action Request System
Developer 7.x required
*         Experience with UNIX environments; SQL knowledge with Oracle
databases running Remedy; Crystal Reports
*         Demonstrated capability to innovate solutions & meet customer
needs with expanded thinking
*         Able to leverage their development experience to find unique
methods to meet the evolving business needs of a growing company
*         Experience in analysis, design, development and end-to-end
management of medium to large-scale applications
*         Develop BMC Remedy ARS applications and implementation of new
functionality including forms, workflow, alerts, filters, escalations,
menus, and other related components
*         Experience required with functional documentation creation,
training material development, use of standard project management practices
and creation and execution of testing scripts/methodologies
*         Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral
and written)
*         Excellent troubleshooting skills, and ability to learn new tasks
*         Participation in off-hours maintenance
*         Strong Customer Service delivery attitude
*         The candidate should be able to effectively multi-task in a fast
paced, technical environment
*         Understands ITIL best practices and experience in implementing the
framework
*         Adhere to DHS development / architecture standards and
methodologies
