*Summary:*

A Senior Application Developer under the leadership of the company’s
Applications Manager will support the process to drive the company’s system
application requirements.

The Senior Application Developer will

1) complete development and support tasks within the company with minimal
supervision,

2) work with the company’s customers to analyze and understand their
information technology (IT) business requirements, and

3) provide programming support to accomplish customer requirements.

The Senior Application Developer will take action to enhance
cross-functional coordination and expand internal communications within the
company and other business units.



*Essential Responsibilities*

Other duties as assigned



1.         As a senior working professional, set a good example for other
associates, coach the associates to improve their productivity and
performance; code and debug programs, and lead unit testing and system
testing (create, execute and test plans and document results).

2.         Manage personal workload to complete tasks in a timely manner;
use available resources to provide quality solutions to meet the company’s
customer needs.

3.         Work closely with and communicate with customers in various
business units to gather and analyze their business requirements, develop
and build productive, working relationships, identify solutions that will
benefit customers, and help customers define necessary program changes or
system enhancements.

4.         Help, as needed or directed: analyze system requirements; design
plans and system flows for IT systems; and develop training documentation.

5.         Produce business and technical design documentation to support
applications.

6.         Lead efforts in unit testing and system testing (create, execute,
and test plans and document results) and in Joint Application Development
(JAD) sessions.

7.         Report critical communications with customers and work results to
management.

8.         Fully coordinate and communicate actions with other company’s
areas and customers.

9.         Assume responsibility for the successful completion of the
maintenance weekend activities, including completing the migration of
components into production, the execution of all functional test scripts,
and the communication to all participants.

10.        Serve as the backup, on a rotating basis, to the Oracle System
Administrator.

11.        Manage small to medium size projects including all duties of the
Project Manager.
