J2EE w DOCUMENTUM - North NJ Duration: 1 Year Client, a global publisher with office in Hoboken, is looking for a Senior Server-Side Core Java/Documentum Developer (consultant) to complement their strong, mature team of Documentum developers. This team works in various business silos, including: Higher Education, Professional and Trade, Scientific and Technical, developing and enhancing core Content Management Systems for a global user base. The client has a history of renewing contracts multiple times. The Senior Developer will be responsible for server-side Java development in a Java/J2EE environment, and for developing and maintaining a Documentum based Content Management System driving the clients next generation College Online Learning platform working in an agile team with a global team of developers. Our client considers it mission critical that the candidate has demonstrated experience working well within a team environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Experience Required: •Strong Background as a server-side core Java developer in a J2EE environment •5+ years of hands-on Documentum, Java, WDK, DFC, XML Programming experience •Strong UI (design & implementation) with Documentum content management system •Excellent Communication skills Core Technology: •Server-side Core Java/J2EE •Documentum development in v.6.x •Strong DFC, WDK, DFS experience •Strong experience in Java/Unix environments •Performance optimization of custom code in Documentum (horizontal & vertical scaling of solutions, bulk data import/export) •Experience with data migration and correction of legacy data •Exposure to any Xquery database (eXist, MarkLogic, Documentum xDB) Plusses: •Integrating Documentum with other java applications •Experience with common open source technology (Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat/Jboss) •Familiarity with CVS/Subversion. •Academic Web publishing experience •Knowledge of XML/Schema •Experience in working with XML Processing in Java** .
