Position: 17747 - Sr. Business Analyst, Demand & Financial Analytics
Location: Bellevue, WA
Contract: 4 Months


Job Description:

This role favors the extremely analytical (i.e. like to roll up their
sleeves with data, spreadsheets, and models) who thrive on the challenges
inherent in dissecting complex problems, utilizing facts/data to derive a
conclusion and delivering clear recommendations to improve results. The Sr.
Demand Analyst provides analytical support to the team by structuring
problems, extracting and analyzing data, and presenting findings. You should
have a strong competency in data mining, building excel models and in
working and analyzing large sets of data.
The Demand Management team is responsible for supporting the Customer
Service Organization. As a Sr. Demand Analyst, you will be reporting to the
Senior Manager of Customer Service and Sales, NCSQ-Demand Management. This
team provides analytical support to the Direct to Customer Vice Presidents
and Executive team.

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
The position requires strong partnership with Customer Service Operations
and Support teams to evaluate quantitative and qualitative data sources to
drive root cause discovery, and develop recommendations to improve
operational efficiency and achieve revenue targets. Analytical dexterity and
excellent communication skills will give you the ability to identify the
information you need from disparate sources.
* Strong problem-solving, data analysis and teamwork skills are essential
* Strong competency and comfort in acquiring, working, and analyzing large
sets of data
* Ability to develop comprehensive financial models to aid in decision
making and evaluation of initiatives
* Construct executive level presentations and present complex analytical
findings in clear, concise, and decision-impacting manner
* Ability to positively interact with individuals at all levels of the
organization
* Ability to work under little supervision
* 3-5 years in financial and operational analysis of corporate initiatives
* Bachelor's Degree with quantitative concentration, MBA preferred
* Highly proficient in Excel, Access, Power-point, and Statistical analysis
* Proficiency in SQL and experience in working with large databases
* Excellent communication skills: ability to present results to executives
in verbal and written form
