As part of Tate & Lyle business transformation project, we have an immediate
need for up to 3 SAP Basis Administrators (general position description
attached). 2 of the resources will have terms of 1-3 months (still
refining) and the third may be engaged for as long as 6 months. All
positions are located in Decatur and we expect the rates proposed to be all
inclusive of travel and expenses.
Rate – 60/hr ctc all Inc
Location: Decatur, IL
*Job description:* The position holder is responsible for providing team
leadership as well as work as part of a team while leading the analysis,
design, development and implementation of SAP operations and administration
strategies and standards for a global organization. The position would also
include working as part of the basis team in defining standards for the
entire organization, while performing proactive day-to-day operational
activities for both business and development groups.
SAP ECC, BW and SAP Enterprise Portal in a basis capacity
? SAP systems exceeding 1 TB in size

? SAP incident/problem management and root cause analysis
? SAP performance optimization and tuning
? Utilization and configuration of SAP Solution Manager

*Main Accountabilities: *
? Perform operational support and administration of multiple SAP
landscapes.
? Monitor and manage a mission critical SAP system, which is part
of a global manufacturing environment on a 24x7x365 basis.
? Defining the principles that guide technology decisions and are
used as input into the overall SAP strategy by for the enterprise.
? Consult on SAP development projects in order to fit business
requirements to the SAP architecture.
? Proactively analysis of the current SAP environment to detect
deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
? Project management related to SAP Basis initiatives.
? Assist with the design and implementation of governance to ensure
SAP policy & process compliance.
? Performance analysis and recommendations for the SAP systems.
? Daily, weekly and monthly operational patching of all systems
? Effective and timely communication with the SAP team, users and
management Performance Measures:

highly reliable and operational sound SAP environment.
