Duration - long term Job Title : Java Developer - Cash Equities Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 5+ years of Java development experience Technical/Functional Skills : * 5+ years in core Java development experience (not too much J2EE or web based) with design, development and implementation. * Experience on Object Oriented Design, Multithreading and Messaging. * Some experience in KDB / Shell scripting is preferable. * Understanding of Eclipse, SVN. * Good RDBMS experience preferably Oracle or SQL Server. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills. * Prior experience in Investment Banking and Cash Equities is preferred. Roles & Responsibilities : * Senior developer * Understand the requirements from customer * Design solution options as per requirement * Unit testing and System testing of developed solution Collaborate with alliance partners Generic Managerial Skills : * 5+ years of software development experience - financial industry preferable * Team player with good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills * Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills Education : Bachelor of Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
