* **Title: Oracle Apps DBA Location: San Jose,CA Duration: 6-12+ month Start date: Immediate Job Description:* -7+ years of experience as an *Oracle Apps DBA* -Experience migrating 11i database into RAC -Expertise in upgrading from Oracle applications 11.5.10.x to RAC -Oracle DBA experience and in-depth understanding of Oracle Databases including current 10g/11g -Experience in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) 10g/11g. -Candidate must be proficient in all aspects of "system administration" functionality within Oracle E-Business Suite -Have hands on experience with applications/tech stack/database upgrades, cloning, patching, and backups/recovery; a good -understanding of Storage, Network, server technology, operating systems for optimal application performance is required and experience in supporting Development and Production environments. -Expert level experience working with oracle application 11i (R12 is a plus). -Expert level experience in oracle 10g, 11i DB installation, configuration, and support . -Expert level experience with troubleshooting problems with concurrent managers, Apache, and database performance -Expert level experience in working with Oracle Financial modules and E-Business Suite R11.5.10+ -Experience in cloning Oracle E-Business Suite databases -Expert troubleshooting skills for oracle application 11.x.x.x and database -Provide 24x7 on-call support as/when needed. -Performance tuning, trending, troubleshooting and issue resolution across complex Oracle environments. -Proactively manage/implement database security and keep abreast of current database security best practices. * * Thanks and Regards, * *Manoj/InfoTech Spectrum Inc.
