Job Title: Teradata Admin Location: Bentonville, AR Duration: Full Time *JD for Teradata Admin -* · Overall 7+ experience and 3+ as Teradata Admin. · Should be able to write DML and DDL, create/drop - User/ Database /tables. Adding / Deleting Columns in a table. · Password reset/ Giving access to views / Columns. · Increasing Perm/ Spool /Temp space on request. · Knowledge of Teradata backup and recovery procedures and utilities. · Replication technologies, Teradata Data Mover, Golden Gate · Installing / Upgrading TTU Clients. Experience with Teradata Manager and Teradata load utilities · Write, test and implement Teradata Fast load, Multiload and Bteq scripts, · Construct Kornshell driver routines (write, test and implement UNIX scripts). · Consult on physical database implementations, PPI, skew analysis, join methods, and data access paths · Gather system design requirements, design and write system specifications. · Copying production database to a test environment. · SQL proficient, Writing Macro /Stored Procedures, Write views based on user and/or reporting requirements. · Query Tuning. Ability to tune query's and manage a diverse query workload. knowledge of ETL loading best practices. · Demonstrates knowledge of data access security options, Use of viewpoint · Will be expected to be available for on-call response in order to provide 24x7 emergency response capabilities. · Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical ability and the ability to work independently with systems technical staff and business users. · Candidate with UNIX / Mainframe skill set is preferred. *Positions and ramp-up plan:-* · Aug - 2 Int Admin – onsite · Sep - 1 Sr Admin - onsite · Sep - 1 Sr DB Engg - onsite · Sep - 2 Int DB Engg - onsite --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Please includes the following information when submitting candidates.
