Job Title: Java-LDAP Consultant Location: Winghaven, MO Duration: 12 months contract Job Summary: General Accountabilities: Candidate will be responsible for planning deployment and integration of Risk/Fraud management systems. Candidate will work with commercial products and professional services organizations to architect a robust, highly-available, and high-throughput fraud scoring and alert management infrastructure. Position requires tasks to complete a secure and robust integration with several fraud and debit processing applications and components. Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate product defects and performance bottlenecks. Evaluate requests to determine technical feasibility, develop technical alternatives and recommend optional technical solutions. Ensure knowledge transfer of vendor technology to Client staff. Collaborate with Business Owners on new projects and identify the applicability of new technologies or hosting services to Client's Risk products. Communicate the business value of technology with customers and business partners. Specific Accountabilities: * Responsible for implementing the technical architecture of hosted fraud applications. * Responsible for design and integration of new fraud components with several existing processing components. * Responsible for participating in new product or project proposal efforts, providing work estimates, and following through on deliverables. * Responsible for documenting all aspects of the technical architecture according to defined standards. * Work as part of a team to develop and deliver fraud/risk solutions. * Install, configure, administer, and monitor risk products. * Test commercial products and custom code modules. * Troubleshoot production issues and work with product vendors to resolve issues. * Responsible for evaluating new Risk/Fraud Management technologies and hosted services for technical fit with Client technology standards. Experience Required: * 4-6 Years development experience with J2EE architecture * 3-5 Years' experience integrating commercial products (i.e. CRMs, ERPs, Case Management Systems, etc.) in an enterprise environment * 3-5 Years designing and implementing high-available, load-balanced, and/or clustered applications * 3-5 Years working directly with relational databases, preferably Oracle, with a strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling * 2-3 Years working with Unix-based solutions, including development experience with Unix-based shell scripts * 1-2 Years working with a web-based single-sign-on solution including LDAP integration. * 1-2 Years system administration experience (Unix, Web Servers, CRMS, etc) * 1-2 Years' experience with multi-threaded applications/components * 1-2 Years' experience with XML * 1-2 Years' experience with Web Services * 1-2 Years programming experience in C/C++ * 1 Year Experience with Ant and/or Make files * Experience with TCP/IP sockets * Superior troubleshooting experience * Experience working with a wide range of Windows and Unix-based, commercial products * Bachelor's degree (or higher) with technology focus Additionally, the candidate shall possess the following: * Proven technical innovation that drives value to the business. * Excellent communications skills - written and verbal. * Provide assistance with maintenance and production issues. * Facilitate release-related activities including release estimates, design reviews and code reviews. * Demonstrated strengths in leadership, communication, and task/time management.
