*Oracle DBA Location: Cary, NC Duration: 6+months--2 Openings* Responsibilities:
- Design Large Scale Oracle 10G Databases for OLTP and data warehouse functions - Develop ETL scripts /procedures for data extracts and loads - Develop Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures and scripts for OLTP and batch database operations - Integrate PL/SQL stored procedures with J2EE applications - Provide Performance Analysis and Tuning of Oracle OLTP and batch database process - Create new and Modify existing databases, duplicate and restore existing databases in support of application development teams - Develop detail design documentation, following UML standards, including Data Models, Use Cases, Architecture Diagrams and Deployment Diagrams - Develop Database Conversion , Data Migration and Deployment plans - Lead Design Sessions and JAD Sessions with Customers - Present Complex Solutions, Demonstrating Product and Domain Subject Matter Expertise to Customers and Executive Management - Provide Out-Of-Hours 2nd Tier Technical Support - Perform system maintenance and monitoring using UNIX, TOAD, and Oracle tools Mentor Java Developers in Oracle DBMS integration and SQL *Knowledge/Skills Requirements:* - 5+ Years Oracle Database programming experience with 10g/11g - Must be currently working on PL/SQL blocks; including knowledge of tuning - Experience in both OLTP/OLAP and Data Warehousing environments - 1 yr Experience in DBA functions, including backup/restore and other Oracle database Operations & Maintenance Functions - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work effectively in development team environment and meet commitments to schedule and quality - Knowledge of UNIX OS , PWB utilities, and a scripting language (Perl, awk, etc.) - Ability to quickly understand existing Data models to start development with a quick learning curve - Understanding of the relationship between business activities, application systems and the corporate technical - infrastructure - Ability to determine impact of system and/or infrastructure changes to the business, and vice versa - Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Information Technology Discipline Feel free to call me for further information… Regards, Kumar Key Business Solutions, Inc. || Office: 916 646 2080 Ext: 223 || Fax: 916 646 2081 || Email: [email protected] || -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
