Description: Sr. Developer/Lead –Visual Studio 2008, C#, ASP.NET, SQL
Our organization has an immediate opening for an experienced software
developer. This is a hands-on position and experience should include Windows
Forms (UI) and Web development. The position will contribute and support
efforts including but not limited to systems design, development,
integration and process/dataflow automation. The chosen candidate will
become part of an IT group charged with the design and delivery of
technology solutions serving Global credit, risk, operations and reporting
business functions.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and development of
software, both applications and processes, to support day-to-day business
functions.
Build relationships and work with business owners and IT team
conceptualizing, designing and executing software development activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional team to understand requirements,
priorities, strategic goals, and objectives
Contribute to the documentation of business functional and technical
requirements and specifications.
Organize and/or contribute to testing, diagnosis and problem resolution.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years demonstrated hands-on experience contributing to the design
and developing of technology solutions in-line with business operational
requirements, needs.
BA or BS and related work experience in the financial industry
Quick learner
Familiar with all SDLC processes and related activities
Strong sense of ownership
Excellent team player.
Required Skills:
Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
ASP.NET
IIS
Web services
Agile/RAD
Prototyping and mockups
Microsoft Office Automation
Strong relational database, preferably Oracle PL/SQL.
Strong systems integration
Designing, coding and debugging complex information systems and applications
Defining scope, objectives and written specifications
Process engineering, workflow automation
Nice to have:
Java
Financial industry commodity derivatives experience a strong plus.
Credit and collateral management experience a plus.
