Six years demonstrated experience in programming and application development using Visual Basic and Visual Basic.NET. . Six years demonstrated experience with MS SQL Server. Preferred Skills: . Teradata experience . Data analysis in a Health Care environment Additional Skills: . Minimum 4 years of experience in design, develop, test, implement and support of data warehousing applications . Minimum 3 years of experience designing 3-NF data models and data warehouses; demonstrated expertise in data modeling, data architecture standards, and best practices. . Experience in translating business and functional requirements into logical data models. . Working knowledge of ETL technologies . Expertise in data warehousing techniques for Data Profiling, Change Data Capture, Data Cleansing . Solid understanding of relational database concepts, SQL and procedural SQL in Teradata . Strong SQL programming skills, including the ability to write complex subqueries . Ability to analyze skew and spool issues, collect stats, work with primary index, compression, partitions.
