*Job Title:* ETL/Informatica Developer *Duration:* 9 months Contract (Very strong possibility of going longer) *Location:* Boca Raton, FL *Interview Process:* 1st phone interview then face to face interview This person will be expected to apply best practices in the management of Informatica ETL platform, work closely with a team to design, develop and support the ETL process in the data warehouse environment. This person will contribute to the creation and enforcement of data, security and quality standards across the ETL process and will be called upon to investigate and resolve data quality issues. *Skills & Experience Weighting* A = Candidate must have these attributes B = Management strongly desire the candidate has these attributes C = Management desires the candidate has these attributes *Skills Needed* A- Minimum of 3 years with Informatica PowerCenter development (version 8 AND 9) A- Oracle development with pl/sql, stored procedure and package(version 10g/11i) A- Shell script development on Sun Solaris 9/10 A- Documentation skill for logical mapping and process flow design A- Effective Data analysis, trouble shooting, and problem solving skills A- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills B- Informatica Administrator, data profiling and data analyzer B- Multidimensional data modeling B- Data quality assurance skill *Knowledge and Experience Needed * A- Understand data warehouse methodologies and business intelligence that depict the ETL process flow between systems and business functions A- Knowledge of information flow, data issues and transformation of business requirements into Informatica mapping/session/workflow A- In depth knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter tool set, minimum 3 years with Informatica version 6/7/8/9. A- Knowledge of meta data concept and management A- Experience and ability to apply Informatica best practices for performing ETL process A- Extensive working knowledge of Oracle database, relational and dimensional data modeling and full life cycle of data warehouse development B- Knowledge of OLAP/MOLAP application development B- Practical experience in a high volume/availability OLTP and data warehouse environment B- Experience of process and data migration B- Cognos 8 /Reportnet development *Responsibilities * Substantially contribute to the system architecture and ETL layer Design, develop and unit-test, Informatica mapping as well as session and workflow based on ETL standard and specifications Participate in data gathering, defining, and analysis of ETL requirements Support cross-functional efforts to in Cognos reporting performance Perform impact analysis on required changes in an expeditious manner Maintain and support Informatica ETL processes in development, testing and production Perform Informatica administrative tasks Effectively communicate in person and via e-mail Work with system architects to improve existing OLTP model, increase data quality, and improve ETL performance Work with the DBA team and manager to maintain ETL stability, and security Write requirements specifications according to standard templates, using clear, unambiguous, and simple language.
