Position: .Net Architect Location: Columbia, MD Duration: 6 months Rate: $80-$85 Start Date:19th Sept Healthcare experience is required Candidate will be responsible for leading technology team(s) in the architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of high-end/high-quality enterprise applications with geographically distributed teams. This includes project and resource planning and management, as well as day-to-day hands-on management and coordination. Responsibilities: * Plan and participate in all phases of .NET software application development with an emphasis on architecture, design, quality, design, code reviews and implementation * Interact directly with users and management to review problems, scope and estimate level of effort, propose solutions, and lead implementation of systems using web-based and related technologies. * Guide teams in aspects of SDLC and multi-tier technology including client, middle-tier and database. * Lead and manage development teams in designing and developing custom .NET application solutions with accountability for teams' work and deliverables * Provide overall technical leadership and technical risk management on assigned engagements * Work closely with developers and management to ensure the release of high quality deliverables * Read, write, analyze, and interpret requirements documents. * Lead authoring of technical project documentation such as architecture diagrams, data models, process flows, use cases and object models * Mentor and train junior software developers Requirements: * 5+ years experience leading implementation of enterprise web applications, architecting and designing technical solutions for client engagements using .NET technologies * 7 - 10 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years management experience. * Hands-on software development experience on web platforms and technologies * Extensive experience in Microsoft .NET framework, C# or VB.NET, Visual Studio 2005/2008, ASP.NET, Oracle or SQL Server databases 1. C# .Net 3.5, 4.0 2. Sharepoint (admin and custom dev) 3. Jquery 4. TFS 5. CI (Continuous Integration - anyone with TFS Build will have this) 6. Agile 7. MVC, MVP 8. nHibernate or other ORM 9.
