Position: Informatica and Reporting Developer Location: Austin, TX Duration: 12 months + Extendable Client: State of TX – Department of Health and Human Services Commission As part of HHSC EA initiatives, the worker will perform the following activities to accomplish the following goals: A. Development and maintenance of an enterprise data analysis and reporting system. B. Create technical and design documentation, as required. C. As a member of team complete requirements analysis, design, development, test and deployment of software projects for new development, modification of existing code, and maintenance of existing code. D. Responsible for supporting and enhancing existing data analysis and reporting system. E. Coordinate high-level application designs. F. Analyze the entire system for performance tuning opportunities. G. Perform system analysis and problem resolution. H. Develop and maintain data and process models. I. Provide technical support for testing and implementation efforts. J. Attend program design, coding and test walk-through meetings to provide input regarding adherence to technical standards and customer requirements K. Work with other teams as necessary to accomplish goals, including but not limited to Environment Management, DBAs, Test Teams, systems administrators, etc. L. Other duties as assigned. II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience 8 Experience in the Information Technology industry 5 Working and developing applications for enterprise class projects 5 Full SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) involvement from analysis and planning to development and deployment. 4 Experience with designing, developing, testing and maintaining a complex ETL process using Informatica tools. 2 Experience designing and developing complex reports based on multidimensional data using BI tools such as Cognos 2 Knowledge of best practices in the area of developing highly scalable reporting systems. 2 Strong experience in advanced SQL queries. 1 Developing Data Analysis (OLAP) Cubes using Cognos tools Preferences: Years Skills/Experience Strong Excellent oral and written communication skills 2 Coding languages and environments including but not limited to Java, J2EE, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), JSP (JavaServer Pages / Stored Procedures), XML (eXtensible Markup Language), and Oracle. 2 Familiarity or knowledge of Eligibility Systems (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid) Thanks & Regards, ANIL Infinite Computing Systems Inc.
