*Build Engineer*
Location: West Chester, PA
*Key Aspect - *Build experience and not support experience. Build experience
includes Understanding Business needs and defining solutions for the IS
Teams within the Data center standards.
*Technical/Functional Skills *
:
- Expert in Grid / High Performance Computing Technology (Includes
installation, configuration and performance tuning of various grid
technologies)
- Experience with SAS / QRM Risk Management Products preferred
*Experience Required*
· BS or BA degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Software Expertise
· Good technical background with experience in system delivery, which
includes the functional and technical design, build, and test phases (SDLC).
· Ability to describe how to build technical designs from functional
designs.
· Deep knowledge of IT solution planning and management.
· Understanding of integration capabilities.
· System development, design, coding, and testing, including automation of
build scripting from code version repositories in an integration testing
environment
· Data analysis and software debugging and troubleshooting ability.
*Roles & Responsibilities*
:
• Ensure successful end-to-end technical integration with vendor software
and custom components
• Act as a main point of contact with vendor for software product / Grid /
High Performance Computing
• Interact directly with vendors and ensure a smooth integration of the
products in the data center
• Use wide knowledge of Internet technologies and hardware capabilities to
drive product features
• Ensure optimal performance of the S/W by implementing the apt hardware
components and fine tuning those rive technical issues to
resolutionbusiness requirements.
