Position: Integration Analyst Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 6+ Months * Requirement:* The Integration Analyst elicits, elaborates, documents, validates and communicates business and system requirements for system integration. The context for this analysis is a business enterprise consisting of relatively autonomous business units that each contribute uniquely to an overall enterprise value chain. The operations of these business units are supported by heterogeneous information systems deployed on diverse technology platforms. Central to the Integration Analyst’s role are: establishing shared business semantics for the things that cross organization, process and system boundaries; creating and maintaining requirements for business and system integration in terms of those semantics; and promulgating those semantics across business and IT teams. This specifically includes reconciling diverse business and system terminology and mapping it to the shared semantics. *Responsibilities for this position on this initiative include:* · Participates in business and system analysis and implementation projects to ensure that integration points are properly accounted for and realized · Creates, elaborates, validates and maintains business and system models and other artifacts for use in identifying, evaluating and defining integration points · Creates XSD structures for implementing Enterprise Integration Messages (XML). · Creates, elaborates, validates and maintains business and system requirements models and other artifacts for use in integrating vendor packaged software, existing custom systems, enhancements to existing systems and/or new systems under development · Creates, elaborates, validates and maintains business and system requirements models and other artifacts for use in creating, enhancing and/or maintaining components of the integration infrastructure · Facilitates, performs and reports on impact and gap analysis with regard to the integration of systems and/or the modification of the integration infrastructure · Collaborates with business SMEs, enterprise-level architects, solution and project-level architects, and system and integration developers in performing the above accountabilities · Assists business subject matter experts, process analysts, development staff, QA staff, data analysts and others in understanding, validating, realizing and testing conformance to integration requirements. *Technical Requirements* · Four (4) years work experience in business system analysis · Two (2) years of formal modeling experience (UML and/or BPMN), including, but not limited to business process modeling, business and system use case development, class and object modeling, state modeling, activity modeling, context modeling, XML modeling. · Two (2) years modeling with tools such as Power Designer, Oracle BPM Suite/BEA AquaLogic BPM Studio, IBM WebSphere Business Modeler, IBM Rational SA, Sparx EA, Lombardi Teamworks, Telelogic SA. · Two (2) years experience with JAD or other requirements and design group facilitation techniques.
