Position: Financial Systems Analyst

Senior Manager - Oracle e-Business Suite Support
*Position Summary:*
This position provides technical and functional expertise to support the
operations of the entire Oracle e-Business application environment at
Comcast.
*Major Duties:*
- Provide technical and functional support to business users of the
Oracle E-Business Suite Application modules, including: General Ledger,
Payables, Assets, Purchasing, Inventory, Project Costing, Fixed Assets, as
well as any modules added to the Oracle EBS footprint in the future.
- Lead efforts to support SOX and Audit control objectives including the
maintenance of the Approva BizRights application. Facilitation/coordination
of periodic confirmation of user access.
- Maintain ownership of all system administration functions including
documentation used by the Corporate Systems Operations team to execute on
the day to day requests.
- Provide tier 3 help desk support (root cause trouble shooting analysis)
for user issues. Coordinate and interact with Oracle Support Services
(i.e., Metalink / My Oracle Support Portal), as necessary.
- Coordinate migrations/implementation of changes between the different
Oracle Application environments (i.e., Development, Test, and Production).
Rotating off-hours support involvement will be required.
- Work with business counterparts to produce documentation for system
change requests and translate changes into coherent, timely, solutions.
- Understand the needs of non-technical internal application users, and
maintain strong support relationships with managers, leads, and end-users
community in all business areas.
- Develop system and process documentation.
- Participate in testing and verification efforts for production
releases, executing software unit test plans and verifying business User
Acceptance Testing.
- Participate in projects related to Oracle e-Business suite and
peripheral applications, as requested.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
*Education:*
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer System Management, Management
Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

*Required experience and attributes:*
- 3+ years experience in directly supporting Oracle E-Business suite,
release 11i.
- 3+ years experienced with SQL, and PL/SQL
- Good understanding of Oracle application modules, and working knowledge
and experience with the application data model and tables structures.
- Knowledge and understanding of business process in one or more of the
following: purchasing, inventory, accounting, accounts payables, fixed
assets, and projects.
- Knowledge of SOX and other regulatory and compliance areas
- Experience interacting with Oracle Support (Metalink/My Oracle
Support).
- Self-motivated team player with strong work ethics.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities.
*Desired experience and attributes:*
- Experience with issue tracking and change management software (e.g.,
Remedy)
- Knowledge of SOX and other regulatory and compliance areas
- Knowledge of UC4 / Appworx scheduling tool
- Knowledge of Quest’s Stat tool for object migration
- Knowledge of JDeveloper
- Knowledge of iProcurement and eCommerce Gateway
- Oracle forms changes via personalizations
- Unix shell scripting
