*Complete Description:*
Senior Java Developer to work on a server-based application that will take
input from a Websphere MQ queue, apply defined rules against the list of
people and seat maps in the request, determine best seat assignments and
produce results to a response queue. Optimization of the transactions is
very important. Experience in managing through-put and logical processes
will be a desired skill set.
Potentially may involve a Rules Engine and Workflow Engine product for
decision processing and workflow management. Some exposure/understanding in
OR Optimization Techniques is desirable.

*Essential Responsibilities*:*
Understand business requirements in order to provide the technical design of
computer software.
Possess programming expertise in Java J2EE in order to develop and maintain
the project’s computer software.
Develop appropriate software and documentation according to Delta IT
standards.
Support and troubleshoot computer software as required, optimizing
performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all
problems.
Follow Delta IT standards and methodologies in the development and
implementation of computer software.

**May perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Entry Requirements:*
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems or
any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training in the
computer systems development field. Previous Airline Experience Ideal.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Experience building computer software within the Airline business a plus.
