The persons submitted should have a "go getter" attitude, willing to dig into problems and drive to a resolution in a structured processed manner. This project will be 12 months in Milwaukee, WI. DUTIES: Work within a team of software engineers to support existing products on various platforms, including Web-based and thick-client. Use a variety of technologies and programming languages; conform to various software development and business processes. Responsibilities include: Investigate problem reports and change requests; replicate problems, including system conditions; gather and analyze data. Troubleshoot/debug issues and document analyses of problems. Propose work arounds and/or solutions, including an analysis of the impact of changes on existing software and recommendations for alternatives. Analyze cost effectiveness and feasibility of proposed solutions. Design, and/or implement work-arounds or software solutions including updates to any affected design documentation. Provide technical assistance as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related discipline to be determined by business needs or equivalent technical experience. 3-5 years related systems or engineering experience, or skills commensurate with 3-5 years systems or engineering experience. Proficient in multiple programming languages such as: .NET (C#), ASP.NET, HTML, Microsoft SQL Server. Experienced with user interface development environments and techniques for various platforms.
