Job Summary:*
You specialize in designing, building and interfacing high volume,
multithreaded enterprise J2EE applications using Weblogic and portal under
Customer Service area. Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills are
required for this position. Additionally, you will work closely with teams
within and across functions to understand technical requirements. You must
possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

*Essential Functions: *
Perform technical feasibility analysis.
Design, develop, document, test, debug, and deploy applications to automate
business processes and improve efficiency. Design and development tasks may
be highly complex and impact multiple functional areas.
Identify and communicate project scope to other team members, and ensure
program milestones and objectives are met
Participate in complex business requirements analysis and business process
re-engineering.
Establish project plans and milestones for other staff on the development
team.
Responsible for quality assurance and code review of programs developed by
other developers on the staff.
**
*Requirements:*
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·         Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and
project management, and organizational skills.
·         Extensive architecting, designing, programming skills in
developing high volume, multi-threaded, database (preferably Oracle) centric
J2EE (EJB, Web Services, Portal) applications for scalability and
performance, using                 efficient code, application server
(WebLogic) scalability and infrastructure (virtual container, load balancer)
scalability;
·         Thorough functional understanding of one or more functional
business areas, preferably customer service;
·         Working knowledge of enterprise application system development
methodology and life cycle.
·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint
and Project; or other similar tools.

*In-depth understanding of:*
o relational database concepts
o internet technologies
o Unix/Linux operating system functions

·         Ability to work collaboratively within an onshore/offshore team
environment of other programmer/analysts, cross functional peers to support
deadlines.

*Responsibility and Interaction:*
*Responsibility:
*The tasks this individual is responsible are often unstructured and the
issues addressed are less defined requiring new perspectives and creative
approaches.
This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving
problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation.

problems in advance, and proposing solutions

o        Limited supervision and direction is provided, as this individual
can operate and drive results and set priorities independently.
o        The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject
matter expert.
o        To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable
results through regular leadership and influencing others.

*Education & Experience:
*A minimum of 8 years of experience is required. 9 to 11 years of experience
is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
