The primary focus will be on applying business analysis expertise to application development projects and then executing testing processes on the resulting work products. This will include gathering requirements from the project team (i.e. project manager, developers, business owners or customers) and documenting the information in a business requirements document (BRD). The ability to diagnose, analyze and solve issues is vital to the core job responsibilities. The process should verify that the finished products are scalable, flexible and seamlessly integrated with other commercial products. The job also requires that knowledge learned and acquired daily be captured and integrated into the product development process to support the company continuous improvement model Skills Required: * Experience in test strategy, planning, designing test case creation and execution * Experience in software testing web based applications * Proficient in writing SQL select and join query types to perform data driven tests for front-end and back-end testing. * Perform functional, regression, stress and performance tests * Experience interviewing users to gather technical requirements * Create functional and design specification documents * Good problem-solving, investigation and debugging skills * Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills required * Experience working within a project schedule and delivery accurate time estimates to the project manger * Proactively communicate with peers, management, and cross functional teams to address and resolve issues * Can work independently - without supervision * Multi-tasking, organizational talent, time-management Preferred: BS in Computer Science or equivalent One year experience in software application testing using proven test methodologies and automated testing tools. Experience implementing test strategies specifically for Microsoft .net and web based projects in a team environment. Knowledge of Team foundation Server would be helpful.
