Full time position The Senior Programmer Analyst - Java is responsible for delivering successful J2EE solutions within the application development infrastructure. Bachelors degree in Computer Science; Engineering, Math or Business with an emphasis on Management Information Systems, or related technical field. However, upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for degree requirement. Six (6) years technical work experience in a software development environment that required advanced Java programming language and UNIX-based platform experience, working independently and in a team-based environment. However, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience. 1 year experience with JMS and Java Persistence /OR Mapping (Hibernate or other). 1 year of use cases and UML required. Experience coordinating software development resources or teams. Experience with relational databases and JDBC. Advanced knowledge of the development life cycle including testing process and methods, variable programming fundamentals, conditional execution, data structures, compilation and debugging tools. Knowledge of Oracle, BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere MQ, Business Objects XI and Business Objects data Integrator helpful. J2EE, JMS, XML, EJB 3.0 Persistence (Hibernate and equivalent), and Object Oriented Framework design, Web services and relation database technology or other preferred. Proven organizational, analytical, and creative problem solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication.Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
