Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to SQL tuning and review, creating test data where applicable, and understanding data access paths. Duties will include working with Project teams to provide the tasks and timing estimates necessary for individual projects and interaction with Production DBA staff to ensure seamless transition and support of projects as they are deployed into production.* * * *Required Skills:* * Technical Skills* * Minimum 7 years experience working in an Engineering and /or Information Technology - Database environment. Minimum 7 years demonstrated ability and success using debug and problem-solving skills. Minimum 7 years Data Modeling with normalization: Minimum 5 years experience as a technical or team lead. Minimum 5 years experience with implementing data models to physical DBMS. Minimum 5 years using SQL (DML, DDL) for Oracle. Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience using ERwin. Minimum 3 years experience with different development models (e.g. Agile, Waterfall): Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience managing performance tuning (statement and/or database). Minimum 3 years experience with Oracle and administering development and test database platforms (experience with export/import, policy, replication, database security techniques, schema & tablespace management, backup and recovery, software installation, database auditing etc). Minimum 3 years experience working in Linux / Solaris environments.* * * *Non-technical Skills Minimum 7 years as part of team implementing solutions using a Systems Development Lifecycle Minimum 5 year determining data classification, data ownership, and stewardship for data within the enterprise. Minimum 5 years preparing and delivering verbal and written communications which are well organized, accurate and concise. Minimum 5 years demonstrated ability to conduct and/or lead discussions with Business Partners and Senior Technology Leadership. Minimum 5 years mentoring others on sound database practices. Minimum 2 years participating in Testing (Data Validation and Reconciliation).** * * * *Nice to Have Skills Technical Skills Familiarity with Oracle OEM Console Familiarity with PL / SQL Developer Familiarity with design and usage of Oracle Objects [proc,func,pkg].
