Duration - long term Job Title SQL DBA Relevant Experience (Yrs) 5-8 yrs Technical/Functional Skills SQL DBA Total Experience Required 5-8 yrs Roles & Responsibilities Perform operations activities in following various items ( but not limited to) Work with Engineering to develop key process necessary to implement OBS 43 deliverables . Hands-on in developing and documenting the Oracle databases auditing activity . Reviewing & providing the feedback on checklists, work instructions and instruction guides from operational prospective . Addressing auditing requirements for compliance . Work closely with Engineering to develop optimum key processes to monitor as well as implement audit deliverables Sound knowledge of KPA, SLA, metrics dashboard. Partner with engineering to define the automatic log cleanup process. Execute the entire audit deliverables on DBs as POC and eventually on all other databases . In depth knowledge of oracle database audit management . Involved in database operations activities including participation in hyper-care testing and implementation of native auditing . Involve in knowledge transfer of operations L1/L2 tasks, define, monitor dashboard The following are the skill set: . Must have 5 ~ 8 years of hands-on database administration experience managing different versions of MS SQL ranging from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2008 . Must have 2~3 years of hands on in implementing SQL auditing in various versions . In Depth knowledge in SQL database audit management tasks, activation of auditing, including familiarity with the related data dictionary tables , testing of auditing. . Familiarity with SOPs and WIs, writing detailed test scripts and awareness of SDLC , ITIL processes Experience in writing shell scripts for databases on Unix/ Windows. . Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. . Must possess strong analytical skills . Excellent verbal and writing communication skills .
