Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Acts as a liaison between the user community and internal IT resources. * Complete required analysis deliverable documentation * Plan, facilitate, and participate in working sessions with cross-functional resource Responsibilities include: * Mange the intake process around new reporting requests. Gather and write requirements around those requests. Work with stake holders to prioritize new deliverables. * Become a knowledge expert around our company systems through partnering with various business units. * Providing data in a meaningful and useful manner and ensure that all data delivered is accurate to support required decision making. * Providing high-level analysis needed to identify business trends and understand variances to key business measures and goals. * May assist with dashboards and metrics reporting as needed. Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: Qualifications: -Has thoroughly demonstrated knowledge of the business processes in their area of responsibility and can work with the Business to define requirements that will drive efficiencies in the business taking into account the entire picture as well as the details. -Has thoroughly demonstrated knowledge of the application systems in their area of responsibility and can identify, evaluate and define impacts of changes, provide alternatives both to the application changing and all upstream and downstream systems, or identify if a change is a manual process taking into account the entire picture as well as the details. Generally assigned to Enterprise, cross-functional and cross-departmental projects with high complexity and cross-system impacts. -Has thoroughly demonstrated working knowledge to conceptualize, document and communicate innovative solutions to meet or exceed business objectives. -Applies modeling techniques to Analyst deliverables. -Ability to conduct peer reviews to solicit feedback on materials created. -MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio) -Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of various business process and system modeling tools including: Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios -Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of the system development life cycle and can train others on SDLC concepts -Demonstrates thorough working knowledge to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, create deliverables and delegate to others as well as monitor their work for completion -Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications -Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables Experience: - 6-8 years experience creating Requirement, Functional Specification, & Test Requirement documents required - 6-8 years experience with supporting both purchased and in-house developed applications required Requirements include: * Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. * Strong analytical skills and business sense combined with the ability to move easily between technical and business issues. * Demonstrated success in translating customer business requirements into reports. * Able to build successful working relationships with key players within and outside of Business Operations. * Experience at business process/workflow modeling, analysis and documentation. * Facilitation of business requirements gathering and development of deliverables for business requirements, functional specifications and test requirement/plans. * Experience with data modeling and analysis, including understanding of relational database and data warehouse architecture/concepts. * Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and Hyperion Essbase. * Experience with and understanding of data reporting environments and tools. Ability to investigate data using SQL queries to perform ad-hoc data analysis. * Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously. * Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills. Preferred skills: - 6-8 years experience in software development, software design or business process design (example: process modeling, use case analysis, etc) and implementation preferred -6-8 years minimum experience in telecommunications industry preferred -2 years minimum Project Management, Management, Team Lead, or other equivalent leadership experience preferred -6-8 years experience with a formal SDLC preferred -6-8 years experience developing business solutions with a variety of tools preferred * Supply Chain experience is a plus, but not required. * MBA preferred.
