*Job Title Senior Tester*
*Work Location *Portland - OR
*Duration* 6 Months
*Relevant Experience (Yrs) *5-8 yrs of experience
*Necessary Skills*
- Experience in a Windows / Mainframe and Web, Client Server environment
- Required Experience with Mainframe/COBOL, XML, and SOA
- Requires a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle,
QA theory and practice, system architecture (mainframe, web and
enterprise), databases, Middleware and EDI.
*Desired Skills*
- Experience with Membership Systems in a health care Domain and
clinical applications
- Excellent communication (written, verbal), technical/analytic acumen
and project/defect/time management.
*Roles & Responsibilities*
- Review the requirements and other Project documents.
- Write detailed Test Cases based on requirements.
- Follows directions in the proper execution of the Test Cases.
- Work very closely with the Test Lead towards implementation of the
test cycles.
- Work closely with other Support Groups towards the successful
execution of Test Cases.
- Identify risks and provide recommendations to the Test Lead.
- Proactive to take up additional tasks if needed.
- Build and maintain successful working relationships with the Team
members and also other support groups.
- Upfront Identification of all the Testing Pre requisites.
- Follow CDP phases as to the quality management
*Generic Managerial Skills: *Status / Issue reporting
*Education: *Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Business or equivalent
related experience.

*Preferred Qualification *
- Experience in the Healthcare industry/ domain
- Experience of Testing Tools such as HP Quality Center, Rational, QTP,
Win Runner etc.
- Experience with SOA, XML, Client/Server, Middle ware, Web, etc.
- Familiarity with any Kaiser applications is a big-plus
