*Duration: 3 years* *Location: Vance, AL * *Rate: $55/hr all-inclusive* * * *Purpose of the Position:* - To provide support for SAP applications, interfaces to SAP, and related software, serving Logistics and Purchasing business processes. - To assist business process owners in Purchasing and Logistics in analyzing and improving their business processes using SAP and related tools, including designing systems customizations. - To manage the configuration of the SAP system related to Material Management, Sales/Distribution, and Warehouse Management. *Essential Functions: * - Analyze, design, develop, prototype, implement, test, and enhance SAP Material Management software in order to meet current and future business requirements. - Write specifications for business processes, subsystems, programs, reports, and interfaces, according to client’s standards, for coding by the contracted development team. - Coordinate the unit-testing and integration-testing within the SAP landscape; develop expertise in SAP to support the project goals and objectives. Participate in development of structured walk-throughs (SAP demonstrations and training) to the users, and provide end user training as required. - Work with related user area to analyze and optimize business processes, as well as find and solve problems with existing software, data, and procedures. - Ensure that documentation relating to business processes and supporting software is accurate and complete. Develop and write documentation for changes and new subsystems, according to client’s standards. Maintain documentation on central client’s document management system. - Perform complete Project Management function for new system introductions and major enhancements to existing applications. - Maintain a current, in-depth knowledge of SAP aspects related to the modules being supported. Keep up with industry trends in disciplines related to the area(s) being supported through self-study and formal training. - Consult with all levels of client’s IT organization and help serve as a conduit for communication between departments and divisions.
