*Job Title* : Storage Administrator (1 Associate)

*Technical/Functional Skills * : Candidates whose background
and expertise satisfy most of the following selection criteria are sought:
· Knowledge of storage quality standards and best practices
• Knowledge in storage applications
• Knowledge of SAN,NAS, IPSAN environments
• Effective organizational and problem solving skills
• Proven written and oral communication skills
• Technically competent in the following areas
• File system, CIFS and NFS shares creation in the NAS environment.
• Space administration and configuration of the NAS backbone systems.
• Regular monitoring of NAS systems.
• Assist in NAS,SAN and IPSAN troubleshooting internally and with
vendor
• Fiber Channel switches cabling, zoning and administration
• Fiber Channel monitoring and troubleshooting
• Clariion configuration. Creation of Raid Groups, LUNS, Storage
Pools.
• Connectivity on the Clariion from the host.
• Creation of Mirrors and Sancopy
• Create / extend MetaLuns per requested by customer
• Troubleshoot Clariion systems.
• IPSAN HP Left Hand Networks monitoring
• Understanding iSCSI interfaces and connectivity with hosts
• Volume creations and host assignments on the Hp LeftHand systems
• Monitoring of all the IPSAN clusters.
• Understanding of the DRT process of NAS, SAN and IPSAN environment
• Proven ability to support major technology initiatives and tasks of
the unit including coordination of working teams and maintenance of close
and constructive working relationships with management and staff in
defining and resolving technology issues.
• Proven conceptual, analytical and judgmental skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.*

administration experience in the areas specifie
*Roles & Responsibilities* : Perform EMC storage administration
encompassing all the activities outlined in the technical / functional
skills section
· Perform RCA of the high severity incidents and communicate with
internal management and the Customer
· Effectively collaborate with the interfacing teams to communicate
and finalize scheduled change requests, perform thorough impact analysis of
the changes to the storage infrastructure
· *Generic Managerial Skills *: Good verbal and
written communication skills
· Excellent Team skills
· Flexibility to work
