Risk Analytics, Fixed Income, MBS/ABS, Credit, Equity, and Derivatives
products. Experience eliciting and capturing requirements of large scale,
Enterprise wide systems
5 Years and above
· In Capital Markets Industry, and with exposure to Risk technology
· Business Knowledge
o Features and lifecycle of Credit, Equity and Derivatives Products
o Understanding of MBS (TBA, ARM, IO/IPO etc) and ABS (Auto/Student
Loans, Credit Cards etc)
o Understanding of Vanila Bonds, EM Bonds, IR Swaps, Sovereigns, Supra
Nationals, Callables Bond Futures, ED Futures.
o Understanding of Options, Options on Futures, IR Swaps, Cross Currency
Swaps FRAS, Swaptions, Caps, Floors.
o Understanding of RMBS, ABS (Auto/Student Loans, Credit Cards etc.),
Derivatives, CDS, LCDS, CDO, CLO, Structured Rates
· Process Knowledge
o Experience eliciting and capturing requirements of large scale,
Enterprise wide systems
o Gathering Business Requirements
o Preparing Business Requirements / Functional specifications Document
o Preparing Use Cases
· IT Exposure
o UML, JIRA, HPQC, Peregrine, & SharePoint
· Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources,
reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details,
abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and
distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
· Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and
internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements
and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements
(Business Requirements Document), iii. Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface
designs)
· Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis,
requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process
descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow
analysis.
· Work independently with users to define concepts and under
direction of project managers
· Develop requirements specifications according to standard
templates, using natural language.
· Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to
establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and
performance needs.
· Coordinate Testing, deployment and configuration/release
management
· Drive SDLC approach, PMO guidelines, and provide timely
progress/feedback while working within a team to meet projected schedules.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to create
effective requirements documents and review them with key project
stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
· Analytical skills for transforming defined business needs into
software requirements
· Extensive knowledge and understanding of software design principles
and development best practices in the full life cycle
· Self-managed and result-oriented with sense of ownership
· Desire and commitment to learn/adapt as needed
· Act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and
support teams across various geographic locations
