Minimum 3 Years in Project Management in Financial Services Industry
IT project Management Framework, Agile Methodology, SDLC.
8 Years and above
· In Financial Services Industry and with exposure to Risk
technology
· Project Management Experience
o Project Management Framework and lifecycle
o Methodology Agile and SDLC
o Capturing necessary requirements in a rapidly changing aggressive
environment
o Time management and the successful engagement of multiple initiatives
simultaneously
· Business Knowledge
o MBS/Fixed Income products is preferred
o General Securities Industry knowledge required
· IT Exposure
o Strong knowledge of Content Management solutions and Business
Intelligence tools
· Creating and revising Project Plans and timelines as deemed
appropriate
· Maintaining Project Management Framework related documentation
· Developing Plans for testing, deployment and
configuration/release management
· Working with Risk Managers to obtain necessary signoffs
· Maintaining documentation standards and record keeping on
SharePoint
· Ensuring all Project related communications go out in a timely
manner including updates to the plans, minutes, resource issues, etc.
· Providing status reports to the respected Group managers
· Consult with, management, vendors, users developers, and analysts
as needed
· Handle daily management of project tasks establishing priorities,
analyzing workflows, adhering to standards and deadlines
· Work with developers to assign their tasks as needed
· Conduct timely review of Contractor expirations and review SoWs
for extensions and expirations
· Follow RBC’s SDLC approach, PMO guidelines, and provide timely
progress/feedback while working within a team to meet projected schedules
· Administrative tasks of on boarding/off boarding Consultants,
FTEs, requesting necessary system access, assist in real estate planning
· Superior troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication
skills and detail oriented work ethic
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Self-managed and result-oriented with sense of ownership
· Desire and commitment to learn/adapt as needed
· Act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams
and support teams across various geographic locations (New York, Toronto,
and London)
