*Mainframe Programmer*
Location: Bloomington, IL
Duration: 6 + months
*Rate: $40 - 45/hr*
4 + years
· 4+years of experience focusing on full lifecycle application
development
· COBOL and PL\I based application development experience required.
· DB2, IMS DB & DC experience required.
· Auto Insurance experience will be added advantage.
· Need to co-ordinate with offshore
· Need to participate design meetings
· Strong written and verbal communications skills
· Ability to work independently and produce results often under
severe time constraints and difficult working conditions
· Establish “Best Practices” and plan for continuous improvement of
processes
4 + years
· Experience in:
· Project Planning & Execution (Development, System testing,
Regression test, UAT, Deployment, Warranty support etc..)
· Requirements gathering for business requirements & provide
estimates
· Project Monitoring / Metrics Reporting/ Dash board creation.
· Exposure on offshore – onsite Coordination
· Strong experience on Issue resolution & Risk mitigation
