Role Description: This is a Quality Assurance role, primarily responsible for the coordination as well as hands-on testing. The position requires an understanding of Mainframe and Java functional and system testing as well as coordinating end-to-end testing with partner systems. Desired skills: Application development and/or quality assurance testing experience in a zOS mainframe environment (DB2, JCL, COBOL, TSO/ISPF, MQ Series, Stored Procedures). Java/SOAP UI experience a plus. Experience with HP Quality Center tool. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong leadership and partnership skills. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a group. Strong experience creating detailed test cases/scripts, and executing manual tests. Experience creating formal test plan and/or test strategy documentation based on reviews of business requirements, functional requirements, and design specifications.
