*Location: Plano, TX**
Duration: 6 months***
*Job Summary*
The Sr. Systems Analyst will support financial systems for design, testing,
production support, and maintenance; specifically, the financial (AP, AR,
Purchasing, GL and Fixed Assets), procurement, Projects Cost Accounting
module, Oracle Inventory, Sabrix Tax system and Markview Imaging/Workflow
system The candidate must be technically astute as well as possess working
functional knowledge of the installed Oracle modules. Development to
include, reports, custom pll’s, forms, interface, extensions, interfaces,
and maintenance of customizations.
Environment: 10G Database, Version 10.2.0.2.0, 11.5.10.2 Applications
*Qualifications*
- 5+years experience with support and development of Oracle EBS
applications required: AP, AR,Purchasing, GL and Fixed Assets, Project Cost
Accounting, Inventory, and Workflow. Experience with Sabrix Tax systems
and Markview Imaging/Workflow systems is a plus, but not required. DBA
best practice experience and working with Oracle On Demand is desired, but
not required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with the following:
Functional: Oracle Distribution R 11i (PO, iProcurement)
Oracle Financial R 11i (GL, AP, FA, AR)
Oracle Project Cost Accounting R 11i
Oracle Property Management R 11i
Oracle Human Resources R 11i (preferred, but
not necessary)
Oracle Discoverer Reports
Oracle Inventory
Technical: Oracle Workflow Builder 2.6
Oracle Database 10G
PL/SQL
UNIX Scripting
Oracle Forms and Reports 6i
Discoverer 10G
Java and Java Scripts
XML Publisher
*Position Responsibilities: *
- Responsible for adherence to IT development methodology and standards.
- Independently gathers and analyzes technical information for designing
new systems and changes to existing systems, and resolving problems and
questions.
- Develops technical system designs for complex systems; collaborates
with other team members in selection of optimum internal design.
- Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are written.
Schedules and conducts internal design reviews and turnover reviews.
- Design, develop, debug, and installs complex programming logic for
existing or new applications.
- Reviews other project team member’s work on applications design,
development, debugging and other programming related tasks.
- For production systems, assures that incidents are resolved on a
timely basis, and assists the maintenance support team to meet production
service levels and schedules.
- Assist users by answering basic functionality questions and follow-up
on any software-related problems.
- Track, test and modify customizations and extensions due to rollup and
major upgrades.
