Position : Senior PeopleSoft Application Administrator/ PeopleSoft Security
Analyst Location : Irvine, CA Duration : Full Time Start : January 2012 JOB
DESCRIPTION: Senior PeopleSoft Application Administrator:- The resource
will support the following:- · Provide technical application administration
support for PeopleSoft 9.x & MS-SQL Server (PeopleSoft Internet
Architecture, Batch Servers, Web Servers, Application Servers, etc.) is
required. · Solid database administration experience in SQL Server
2005/2008 technology is required. · Ability to perform db administration
tasks (scheduled db refreshes, etc) as required. · The resource should be
capable of following the SOP document to support all peripheral
applications that interact with ERP (WMS, Bank Interfaces, GIS, etc). ·
Follow and execute code / sql migration procedures · Be the first point of
contact for all ERP application administration related issues. · Required
to support server patchfests as required. Senior PeopleSoft Security
Analyst:- · PeopleSoft Security Analyst will maintain Enterprise Security
Environments. Qualified candidates will possess expert-level technical
knowledge in Application Security. · And support production and
non-production PeopleSoft environments and using remedy tickets with
End-User and module leads. · Resource must have excellent business/system
process skills and a talent to understanding and solve issues. And she/he
will periodically interact with Business Application team. The resource
will support the following:- · Manages the configuration and implementation
of on-going security administration within PeopleSoft applications. ·
Follow the established procedures to provide proof to auditors that users
can only access data that has been authorized. · Manage system access for
end-users, developers, analysts, and system administrators across all
application tiers and instances. · Responsible for administrative security
policies for all enterprise applications across multiple instances and from
all levels (application infrastructure to end user). · Work to develop
and/or maintain appropriate Segregation of Duties within and across
applications. · Analyzes new security requirements and implement the proper
roles and permissions on the basis of best practices. · Meet with users to
analyze, document and define requirements associated with new development
or maintenance and enhancements to existing security roles and permissions.
· Review completed roles/permissions with users to ensure requirements are
fully met. · Review current architecture and policies and implement changes
to improve currents procedures and structure. · Design and test new
development or enhancement/maintenance of existing roles and permissions
documenting the requirements using approved documentation and design
methodologies. · Provide training, guidance and implementation of approved
roles and permissions. · Deliver services that meet Sarbanes-Oxleys
specifications. · Work with internal and external auditors to document and
confirm that all security administrative duties are properly performed as
well as demonstrate overall compliance. · Review current infrastructure
security roles and develop new procedures for ensuring proper resources
have access to only required infrastructure. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: · PeopleSoft account administration process, ensuring
that account creations, modifications, and deletions occur in a timely and
appropriate manner. · Ability to support PS system to meet unique business
requirements and ensure that appropriate roles, permission lists, and row
level security exists for all functional areas. · The problems encountered
vary greatly and may require the ability to work as part of a team to find
a resolution · Will collaborate with customers, staff and external
customers on a regular basis to solve problems. The ability to absorb a
large amount of information, quickly evaluate the nature of the problem and
to provide a solution rapidly and decisively is essential. · Experience
with the full lifecycle of both implementations and upgrades. · Routinely
audit security in all environments, ensuring that all users are
appropriately provisioned for their work function. · Write and maintain
documentation related to security design, implementation, and practices. ·
Provide ?real-time? support for production access related issues on a daily
basis. · Must be good interpersonal, verbal and written communications
skills with Business and End users. · As a member of the team supporting a
mission critical application, be available to respond to system problems on
a 24-hours per day- 7-day per week basis QUALIFICATIONS: · MUST HAVE
experience with Security Administration for PeopleSoft ERP/HR Applications
9.0 and higher · Ability to follow strict procedures for disciplined
documentation, event handling and change control · Ability to work flexible
maintenance windows, and participate in on-call 24x7 rotation · Must be
able to communicate complex technical details in a clear and concise manner
to both technical and non-technical staff. · Resource should have solid SQL
and debugging skills with full understanding of Peoplesoft Architecture ·
Ability to handle high levels of responsibility, self-directed, with strong
organizational and project management skills.
