In-depth knowledge of WebSphere MQ 6.x/7.x on Windows platforms
o Understanding and working experience using Advanced MQ Clustering
o Dead letter queue handling
o Ability to automate WebSphere MQ installations on Windows and
XP/Win7 workstations.
o Experience doing MQ upgrades on Windows servers and workstations.
· Strong knowledge of Windows and XP/Win7 operating systems
· Good Deployment Management System and SQL scripting skills
Good Windows Software Distribution skills needed to build and
update the inventory of Windows servers and workstations hosting WMQ.
Ability to access workstations using a variety of tools for problem
resolution.
Knowledge and experience with Lotus notes database, OPIS, FileNet,
and ITAR databases.
· General understanding of how WebSphere MQ interconnects to other
operating systems (zOS/Unix)
· Experience loading WebSphere MQ on a Windows and XP/Win7
workstation installation.
· Experience troubleshooting with trace files, MQ logs, and JMS logs.
